Friends, technological innovations are happening at seemingly unparalleled rates. Those rates however, are rivaled by rates of staggering decline in interpersonal communication skills, and the iGen-Generations’ sense of a traditional community. BuzzBumps’ design is to take advantage of how quickly simple tech innovations can take hold in an endeavor to improve our communication skills and sense of community.

​Consider HDTV, though broadcast quality was greatly improved, decades of disorderly and divisive expenses were astonishing for something we still just watched. HDTV’s real legacy is that it hastened the decline of civilization.

YouTube in stark contrast was a quick cobbling of existing technologies to fill a want. Three guys wanted to simplify the uploading and sharing of web-videos.
They started a business above a pizzeria, raised 10-12 million in venture capital, and hired a couple dozen people. 30 million videos a day were streaming within sixteen months. Within two years they were one of the top-ten visited websites! 

YouTube transformed media by allowing amateurs to easily program their own broadcast networks, connect video clips from all across the planet, conduct conversations with viewers, etc. It was then quickly overrun with advertising.

Now that people are fed up with advertising what has YouTube done? They increased the advertising users see while bombarding them with offers for a fee based, ad free service.


Huge advertising profits for Google (YouTube) and Facebook translate into very disappointing returns for local businesses. Advertising across the board is more disappointing than ever due to the growing negative sentiments about ads and the rising of peer recommendations.

​Enter BuzzBumps, when the cost of storing, connecting, and distributing content had never been lower. Eric Schmidt of Google fame has stated that, "the cost of distribution is relentlessly driving towards zero." Also, the diversity of types of content has never been higher. Now we can put all this together without advertising, have it cost less and be more effective than all forms of advertising (even SEO and GPS ads), donate the service to local charities, still be profitable, and stay on the leading edge of making connections.

BuzzBumps was started in a spider hole and could be finished from a junk drawer - But we need the right people with the right talents and vision! But no longer is the space above a pizzeria and two dozen people required to transform media toady. So, let us open our minds and senses to the magnitude of transformation BuzzBumps is poised to accomplish.
